Pause. Reflect. Integrate.

Ekatra was conceived through years of observing a growing sense of emotional exhaustion, disconnection, and loneliness in people’s lives — even in the presence of constant connection and fast-paced living.

Through her clinical work and lived experiences, Ms. Navneet Kaur, Clinical Psychologist and Founder of Ekatra, increasingly recognised how difficult it had become for individuals to find spaces that truly allow pause — spaces where one can slow down, reflect, reconnect with themselves, and move beyond living on “autoplay”.

A recurring experience that deeply shaped the vision of Ekatra was the sense of isolation many people carry in their psychological struggles — often believing that their thoughts, emotions, or experiences make them fundamentally different or alone. Ekatra was therefore envisioned not only as a psychotherapy practice, but also as a reflective and intentional space that values community, shared human experience, and psychological safety.

Rooted in evidence-based and empirically supported psychotherapy, Ekatra approaches wellbeing through the integration of mind, body, and brain — recognising the interconnectedness of our thoughts, lived experiences, physiological responses, and capacity for adaptation and change.

The intention is to create an environment where reflection, awareness, and meaningful psychological work can gradually translate into more intentional, valued, and connected ways of living.

More than symptom reduction alone, Ekatra aims to support individuals in improving quality of life, cultivating deeper self-understanding, and engaging with themselves and others with greater awareness and presence.

Our approach

Integrated care for the whole person

Mind

Thoughts, emotions, and patterns of meaning. We create space for reflection, awareness, and insight — the quiet conditions that make genuine adaptation possible.

Body

The lived, sensory experience of being human. Stress, trauma, and anxiety live in the body — and grounding, presence, and regulation are often where meaningful change begins.

Brain

Neural pathways, habits, and the capacity for transformation. We work with how you learn, adapt, and integrate experience over time — drawing on neuroplasticity and empirically supported methods.

Our team

Experienced clinicians, one shared vision

Ekatra brings together trained psychologists and psychotherapists who share the same integrative philosophy — honouring mind, body, and brain — while tailoring the therapeutic process to each person and their unique story.

Ms. Navneet Kaur

Clinical Psychologist & Director, Ekatra · Gurugram (formerly NK–PWRC)

For Ms. Navneet Kaur, psychotherapy has never been only about reducing symptoms — it has always been about helping people reconnect with themselves in a deeper, more meaningful way. This conviction is the heart of everything Ekatra stands for.

The vision behind Ekatra grew from a desire to create a space that feels emotionally safe while remaining clinically grounded — a place where people can slow down enough to truly listen to themselves. She believes meaningful psychological work happens not only in structured sessions, but also in moments of reflection, emotional awareness, and gradual integration.

She holds an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology (RCI) from GMCH-32, Chandigarh, and integrates evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed practices — always tailored to each person's lived experience and goals.

Through Ekatra, she hopes to nurture not only individual therapeutic journeys and psychological assessments, but also wider community conversations — through workshops, support groups, and reflection circles designed to make mental health more accessible, human, and compassionate.

Ms. Simran Kalra

Ekatra · Gurugram

Hi, I’m Simran Kalra, a Counselling Psychologist at Ekatra. I completed my Master’s in Clinical Psychology in 2018 and have since been working with individuals navigating childhood trauma, self-esteem concerns, and relational difficulties. My aim is to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more aligned with their values, and build lives that feel authentic and meaningful.

More about Simran

I believe therapy should feel like an inclusive space where all parts of you are welcome. My approach is eclectic, trauma-informed, and IFS-informed, allowing me to tailor therapy to your unique needs and experiences. Together, we create space to process emotions, understand patterns, and explore yourself at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

In therapy with me, you can expect collaboration, confidentiality, mutually decided goals, and a space where you can show up unapologetically as yourself. I also bring gentle structure into sessions so that while we unpack difficult experiences, we do so mindfully without dysregulating or overwhelming you.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy art, strength training, and travelling. I’m also a certified scuba diver, and deeply value experiences that foster curiosity, grounding, and self-discovery — qualities I carry into my work as a therapist.
